David K. Beyer handles the following regions for Heritage Appraisers:
My name is David Beyer. I have been in the jewelry Industry for 34 years. During my senior year in high school I took a co-op job working in a family owned jewelry store doing their engraving and being their “gopher”. Not too long into it, it became harder for me not to become curious about the jewelry end of it so they decided to mentor me, not only to become a jewelry salesperson but a young man. It was at that point that I received my certificate as a registered jeweler through the American Gem Society.
I was married in 1981 and in 1982 I was made manager when they opened their 2nd jewelry store. I went on to receive my GIA degree and became a Certified Gemologist with the American Gem Society and continued to work for the same jewelry store for 30 years. I am also a member of the GIA Alumni Association and the National Association of Jewelry Appraisers.
Once my two children were grown, married and through college, I decided to begin my own business as an independent jewelry appraiser. I am currently enjoying working with Heritage Jewelry Appraisers where I can continue to follow my jewelry passion and service customers across the Ohio and Kentucky territory. I love talking to people from all different walks of life. I have always believed that it is all about the customer and making their jewelry purchases a pleasant and memorable experience.
In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family, doing service with the church, attending networking meetings, and traveling. When asked what my hobby is… it always comes back to work. My wife says that’s because I must truly enjoy what I do.
